The Solidarity Economy group of New Orleans meets every other Wednesday at Loyola University in the Monroe Library, Seminar Rm 4 on the second floor. We discuss alternatives to the current economic paradigm and ways to create more grassroots and democratic economic opportunities. Previous subjects have included the NOLA Timebank, the Crescent City Community Land Trust, Worker Owned Cooperative businesses, Tiny Houses and alternative living, and more!
This group is co-sponsored with the ZigZag Faculty-Student Discussion Group at Loyola, and is also a course in the NOLA Free School Network.
